This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains how we process, pack, and deliver your orders from

1. Scope of Policy

This policy governs all confirmed purchase orders placed through our website, email, or any official communication channel of Ortir India. By placing an order, you agree to the terms outlined here.

2. Nature of Products

Most Ortir India products are handcrafted or made-to-order. Because each piece is individually created, minor variations in color, texture, or finish may occur. These are hallmarks of authentic craftsmanship and are not considered defects. 🎨

If there is any delay due to high demand or artisan availability, we’ll notify you promptly via email or phone.

4. Shipping Methods & Partners

We deliver across India through trusted logistic partners such as BlueDart, Delhivery, DTDC, India Post, and other reliable courier services.

For international shipping, Ortir India works with recognized courier partners offering tracking and customs-cleared delivery. 🌍

Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary due to weather, logistics disruptions, or public holidays.

6. Shipping Charges

Shipping charges are calculated at checkout and displayed before payment.

  • Domestic Orders: Free shipping on select products / orders above a certain value.
  • International Orders: Charged based on weight, destination, and carrier tariff. Import duties or taxes (if any) are payable by the customer.

7. Tracking Your Order

Once your order is shipped, a tracking number and courier link will be sent via email or SMS. 📦

You can also log in to your account (if applicable) to track the status of your shipment.

8. Delivery Attempts

Couriers usually make up to two delivery attempts. If the parcel cannot be delivered due to incorrect address, unavailability, or refusal to accept, it will be returned to us. Re-delivery can be arranged at an additional shipping cost.

9. Order Inspection & Receipt

Upon delivery, please:

  • Inspect the package for any visible damage before signing for it.
  • Capture photos / videos if the package appears tampered with or damaged.
  • Contact us within 24 hours of delivery for assistance (see Section 11).

10. International Shipments & Customs

International customers are responsible for understanding local import laws. Customs duties, VAT, or clearance fees (if applicable) are payable by the recipient.

We provide all required export documentation to facilitate smooth delivery.

11. Damaged / Lost Shipments

If your order is damaged in transit or lost:

  • Notify us at ortirindia@gmail.com within 24 hours of delivery (or expected delivery date for lost shipments).
  • Include your order ID, tracking number, and supporting images.

We will liaise with the courier and initiate a replacement or refund as per our Returns & Refunds Policy.

12. Change of Address

If you need to update your shipping address after placing an order, please contact us within 12 hours at

Address changes may not be possible once the parcel is dispatched.

13. Force Majeure

We shall not be held liable for delay or non-delivery due to circumstances beyond our control — including natural disasters, pandemics, lockdowns, strikes, or transport restrictions.

15. Jurisdiction

All matters related to shipping or delivery shall be governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi, India.
