1. Scope of Policy

This policy applies to:

  • Orders confirmed and paid through official Ortir India channels (website, email, or authorized communication).
  • Products directly sold or fulfilled by Ortir India.
  • Domestic (India) and select international orders.

2. Nature of Our Products

Each Ortir India product is handcrafted, which means slight variations in color, texture, polish, or detailing may occur. Such variations are not considered defects — they signify authenticity and the human touch behind each creation. ✨

3. Returns Eligibility

We accept returns only under the following conditions:

  • ✅ The item is defective, damaged (in transit), or incorrect from what was ordered.
  • ✅ You notify us within the specified timeframe below.
  • ✅ The product is unused, unwashed, and returned in its original packaging with all tags and invoices.

5. Non-Returnable Items

To maintain hygiene and product integrity, the following items are non-returnable and non-refundable unless defective or damaged:

  • Custom-made or personalized items
  • Sale, discounted, or clearance items
  • Textile or fabric-based products once used or washed
  • Artworks, paintings, and decorative collectibles

6. Return Approval & Pickup

  • After reviewing your request, our team will confirm eligibility within 2–3 working days.
  • Approved returns will be scheduled for pickup (for domestic orders) or shared with instructions for safe return shipment.
  • The item must be returned within 7 working days of approval.

For international returns, within 15–20 days the customer must arrange shipping using a tracked courier service. Ortir India is not liable for lost parcels during transit. 🌍

7. Inspection & Refund Process

Once we receive the returned product, our team will inspect it for:

  • Unused condition
  • Original packaging
  • Reported defect validation

If approved, the refund will be processed within 7–10 working days to your original payment method.
If rejected (e.g., product used, damaged after delivery, or incomplete return), the item will be shipped back at your expense.

  • Our team will review and offer a replacement, credit note, or refund.
  • We may arrange pickup or request return shipping based on your location.

12. Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received your refund after 10 working days:

  • Recheck your bank or payment account.
  • Contact your card provider or bank (processing may take additional time).

15. Legal Jurisdiction

All return and refund disputes shall be governed by Indian law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Delhi, India.
